Couples Counseling
Research-based couples therapy that helps you navigate conflict, rebuild trust, and strengthen the connection you both want — guided by clinicians trained in the methods that work.
Who It's For
Whether you’re in crisis or simply want to grow stronger together, couples therapy provides the tools and space to do the work that matters.
Communication breakdowns, recurring arguments that never seem to resolve, and the frustration of feeling unheard. We help you learn to fight fair and listen deeply.
Building strong foundations before marriage — aligning on values, expectations, finances, family dynamics, and the conversations most couples avoid until it’s too late.
Infidelity recovery, broken promises, and the long road back to safety. Rebuilding trust is possible — but it requires skilled guidance and genuine commitment from both partners.
Emotional distance, feeling like roommates instead of partners, loss of intimacy. We help you reconnect with the relationship you both want to have.
Our Methods
We draw from the most well-studied frameworks in couples therapy — proven methods with decades of clinical evidence behind them.
Based on over 40 years of research by Drs. John and Julie Gottman. Focuses on building friendship, managing conflict constructively, and creating shared meaning within the relationship. We assess your relationship’s strengths and growth areas through structured exercises and guided dialogue.
EFT helps couples identify and reshape the negative interaction patterns that keep them stuck. By understanding the attachment needs beneath surface-level conflict, partners learn to reach for each other rather than retreat or attack. Recognized as one of the most effective couples therapies available.
Practical tools for active listening, expressing needs without blame, de-escalation during arguments, and repair after conflict. These skills form the foundation for every healthy relationship and are woven into all of our couples work regardless of the primary therapeutic framework.
The Process
A structured, thoughtful process designed to give both partners a voice and a clear path forward.
01
Both partners attend an 80-minute initial session together to share your relationship history, current challenges, and what you hope to achieve.
02
Each partner meets privately with the therapist for one session. A confidential space to share anything you may not feel comfortable saying together yet.
03
Your therapist presents a treatment plan based on everything gathered — relationship strengths, patterns to address, and recommended goals for your work together.
04
Weekly sessions of 50 to 80 minutes, in-office or via telehealth. Your therapist guides you through exercises, conversations, and skills practice tailored to your goals.
Reaching out is the hardest part. Once you do, we’ll help you find the path forward — whether that means rebuilding, reconnecting, or simply understanding each other better.
